OPEN DAY MARKET
On Sat 4 October 2014 the Open day Market at Buffelsfontein Village on the c/o 17th Ave and Buffelsfontein Road will highlight the services offered by the various divisions of Algoa Bay Council for the Aged to older persons in the Nelson Mandela Metro. In particular those older persons receiving a state pension of R1350 per month. Members of the public are invited to visit our exhibit to see what services are offered to keep the older persons of the Metro active and independent and in the community. The entrance to the village is in 17th Ave opposite Tony's Appliances. Starting at 9 am and ending at 2pm the event promises to be a fun day for the whole family.
Visitors can look forward to stalls offering Crafts, Pancakes, Koeksisters, Lasagne Breakfast and Coffee, Preserves, Cakes, Tarts, Biscuits, Books, Magazines, Rootees, Pies and much more. All home made of course. Residents of the village will be selling their products as well as some friends of ours from the morning market fraternity of the Metro.
Weather permitting there will be a boot sale outside on the grass and at 11.30 Jabu the Blue Ribbon Mascot will be arriving to entertain the kids. At 12 noon little ones and teens can enter the Miss and Mr Buffelsfontein Competition for ages 3 to 14 and win some super prizes. Fun for the whole family.
